Springfield, nestled in the heart of Georgetown, South Carolina, has been a cherished and integral part of my family’s legacy for over 45 years. My late parents, Peggy and J. Howard Stokes, Jr., held a deep affection for this land, where we celebrated countless private events and family weddings. The memories created here are etched in our hearts, making Springfield a place of profound significance.
In honor of my beloved parents’ memory, I have made the heartfelt decision to open up this little piece of paradise to the world. The Southern Charm and captivating landscape of Springfield are simply too magnificent not to share. Nestled along the tranquil banks of the Great Pee Dee River, you have the unique option to arrive at your event by a chartered ferry, adding a touch of enchantment to your experience.
The Venue at Springfield Estates, cultivated with love and care for generations, offers an extraordinary escape within our 250 acres of serene historic rice fields, resplendent blooming gardens, and a majestic congregation of over 400 live oak trees, some dating back to the 1800s. The land’s preservation is a testament to my parents’ vision and commitment, as they put a conservation easement in place to protect this hidden gem from development and disturbance, ensuring its preservation for generations to come.
Now, we are thrilled to invite you to experience the beauty, intimacy, privacy, and tranquility that Springfield Estates exudes. This sacred place has touched our lives profoundly, and we wholeheartedly believe it will do the same for you. The Venue at Springfield Estates eagerly awaits to be a part of your cherished lifetime memories, as we embark on a journey to create extraordinary and unforgettable moments together.
